Our nimble team of strategists, storytellers, data geeks, content creators, and account ninjas collaborate every day to make good things happen in school communities. You’re only as good as the company you keep…which probably explains why working here is so darn awesome (just sayin’).
In addition to our 9-5, many of us also volunteer at school, have done a stint in school administration or education, or have kids ourselves, so we understand what it takes to build strong, successful school communities and the value that effort brings—and we bring that same passion and enthusiasm with us to work every day.

COO & CFO Email Brian Cabezud >>Brian Cabezud is an entrepreneur and professional investor with more than a decade of experience driving the growth of middle-market companies. He is cofounder of Sunlight Capital Group, the entity that acquired School Family Media in 2018. He currently manages the day-to-day operations of School Family Media as its COO & CFO.
Brian previously drove the growth of Wild Brain Entertainment, a children’s entertainment company; eCommLink, a payments processor; and Kidrobot, a toy platform and retailer. He enjoys operating at the intersection of data and education, and he believes that parents and teachers should always have the most to gain in the services he promotes.
Charles Field
CEO Email Charles Field >>Charles Field is an entrepreneur and operator dedicated to leading companies as they define emerging business opportunities and scale into new markets. As Chief Executive Officer, Charles is responsible for establishing the vision for School Family Media, leading strategic initiatives and leading the day-to-day success of the organization.
Prior to SFM, Charles helped make the investment in School Family Media for Sunlight Capital Group, and he brings more than 10 years of direct experience building digital marketing & media businesses in the education sector.
Charles received his MBA in marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics from Amherst College.
Dyanne Griffin
Vice President of Product and Client Services, TeacherLists Email Dyanne Griffin >>Dyanne Griffin joined School Family Media in 2009, bringing with her nearly 20 years of experience in the enterprise software solution market with a focus on launching new business and product line offerings. She has been integrally involved with the TeacherLists solution since its inception in 2013.
Dyanne currently leads the TeacherLists solutions team, which focuses on the product management and product marketing of the TeacherLists solution as well as on partner relations and product integration of key back-to-school brands and leading retailers, including Crayola, Elmer’s, Target, and Walmart.
Before joining School Family Media, Dyanne worked as a teacher and college prep tutor. She lives in Wrentham, Mass., with her husband and three children.
Jamie Engel
Vice President of Sales Email Jamie Engel >>Jamie Engel came to SFM in fall 2019 with more than 25 years’ experience in the advertising and media industry. Having worked at some of the world’s most notable media companies like Conde Nast and Time Inc., Jamie was eventually hired at Scholastic to lead their parenting publication, Scholastic Parent and Child, and their custom in-school marketing solutions division. While there, he was responsible for bringing such major clients as Disney World Parks and Resorts, Target, and Milk PEP.
Jamie currently oversees ad sales and sponsorships for SFM with a focus on TeacherLists. With a fast-growing audience of parents and teachers coming to TeacherLists as a school supply solution, Jamie is leveraging their engagement with our platform for marketers looking to reach this audience in a meaningful way.
Matt Doremus
Vice President of Engineering Email Matt Doremus >>Matt currently lives in Wilmington, MA along with his wife Bonnie and son Mark. He has over three decades of experience as a strategic technology leader working with high-tech startups as well as established global technology companies. He is a natural problem solver and enjoys finding new ways to leverage technology to drive business efficiencies and improve customer experience. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing softball and watching football.
